"We Are The New Vintage"

I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHICH YOU ALL PREFER AND WHY. IM STILL TRYING TO DECIDE, BUT IM LEANING ON LIQUID ACRYLIC. I'VE BEEN USING FW WHICH I HEART, HEART, HEART, BUT SOME COLORS DONT PULL LIKE THE REST. IS THERE MAYBE A MEDIUM I CAN USE FOR THIS?

If I'm going for pastels or a really washed look I use water colors... but most the time my painting is very vibrant. I swear by acrylic paint!

I love your artwork!!!

I've noticed that it doesn't matter what ink, paint or pencil you're using, some shades just DON'T work as best as others no matter what brand you use. Isn't that weird?

Yah, that is awesome. And, it's ORIGINAL, too - it's kina in the Sailor Jerry theme, but I've not seen that type of design before. Great work!

To answer your question, in general I really like watercolors. I think they're a very evocative medium - and, they're quite forgiving, so they're relatively fun / easy to learn.

Im the same i use a combo of FW and watercolours. I used to use Gouache a lot but much prefer the acrylic inks. I love the white FW ink and the really bright red especially.

Great work by the way! x

I never tried water or acrylic ,,, I only know enamel and mineral spirits ...its the stuff ...try it

acrylic for me all the way. I used water color in one of my painting but I feel that there is just something missing. Plus acrylic has beautiful, painless after care methods where watercolor is a pain to deal with in certain climates. Have a good one xoxo

I've been using watercolours just because that's all I had at the time..I've think I've improved at it..I hope so! I wanna paint more in acrylics soon. If you want check out my artwork and tell me what you think. Thanks!

I'm an oil guy. I do use acrylic as an underpainting though and I treat it like watercolours.
