How do you feel about freckles?
I have plenty and find that people like to photoshop them out. Do any of you like them? If so, how do you make them sexy (make-up, ect)? I have noticed that they are so rarely seen in pin up photography, which leads to believe they are not acceptable. I would greatly appreciate some thoughts about how you feel :)
Thanks!
Jessie

I Love my freckles, if it's ok with the photographer I've actually asked the makeup artist to not put makeup on the bridge of my nose and cheek bones. A lot of the photogs I've met in the past are also very different, I have had ones that love my tattoos and freckles and others that don't like them. I think it just depends on the person. I know a lot of my pics get lightened and the lights are so bright it washes me out and actually hinds them. My opinion is that they are adorable and the amazing thing about pin up is it's for women of all shapes, sizes, colors, and "patterns." If the photog doesn't like them then they probably have product or technology to remove the lovely sun kisses off themselves. :)
I have freckles, and while I think they're cute, I don't really think they're sexy. Depending on what kind of mood/tone I'm trying to convey in a picture, I'll edit them out (if I'm trying to be sexy/sophisticated) or leave them in (if I'm trying to be flirty and cute). That's just how I feel about my own freckers. One of my favorite people with freckers is Julianne Moore and you're hard-pressed to find a professional photo of her with her freckles showing.

On the red carpet, in all her freckered glory!
What does it all mean? That the majority of people don't find freckles attractive, or that companies think that the majority of people don't find freckles attractive? The world may never know. :)
