ATTN Pinups and Photographers :

Due to the overwhelming offers from pinups and photographers to help with our care packages, we have created a fun way to help out:

Here's how to donate a Pinup Photo to be added to our troops' care packages along with a cash donation for printing costs.

1. Images must be quality, appropriate, and high resolution. Size 5x7 at 300dpi is the minimum size that we can print. (This is no less than 1500x2100 pixels)

2. A $10 donation to cover printing costs made via PayPal. (See donate button below)

3. Email your image to thepinupangels@thepinupangels.com along with your Pinup Name. Make your PayPal donation to the same address or click the link here:

4. To determine the quality of your images follow these guidelines:

Professionally taken
No nudes or inappropriate implied nudes
No overly suggestive 'behind' shots
No unfriendly or controversial content
Follow the dimensions listed above
Double-check the details before you email your image and make your donation!

5. You must have permission from your photographer or your model to reprint the images for the purposes of sending in our care packages. We are able to print photos without a written release, but we cannot accept responsibility for unauthorized use of your images.

If you would like to print your own photos they can be mailed to us at:

The Pinup Angels
PO Box 9746
Seattle, WA 98109

The Pinup Angels thank you very much for your contribution to our troops’ morale.

GUIDELINES FOR POSTING IN THIS GROUP

1. Use the Soldier’s Lounge responsibly as a way for our community and troops to interact safely on Pinup Lifestyle
2. The Soldier’s Lounge Group is not a dating site. Please respect that all members may have a significant other, but would still like to share the love between our troops and our pinups.
3. Military members: Please practice OPSEC and do not publicly post your deployed addresses. If a member wishes to send you a care package, please give them your address via private message or email.
4. The Soldier’s Lounges encourages all group members to post in this group. Let’s show our troops how much they mean to us!

Next time your trip takes you through the airport and you see a Soldier, tell he/she thank you for what they do. If your a Hottie, give the guy a peck on the cheek. He earned it :)

Hi There!

I'm writing this, and thinking about my loved ones: family, friends, and acquaintences. I can't help but remember our Military Folks who have given SO MUCH for my ability to enjoy a good life.

As a former Navy Seabee, I want to WELCOME HOME every Military Person, and I thank Every One of you for all you've done, during your time in Service to this Great Nation! You are U.S. Citizens of the highest quality! You're true Patriots! And you are loved and appreciated!!

If any Service Member, or Veteran, (or a family member) is in need, there are several services available, uniquely designed to assist you. Some of them are:

http://www.vba.va.gov/VBA/
http://www.vetcenter.va.gov/
http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org

There are also a large amount of resources available to help Military Folks in obtaining Compensation and Pension, Education, Home Loans, Vocational, Life Insurance, and Readjusting to Home life services.
You can find information at:

http://www.va.gov/

As a Military Person, these benefits are Yours! You've earned them, and you deserve the Very Best there is!

I wish all of my Brothers and Sisters (Military, Veteran, and Civilian), a Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays!!

Your Friend and Fan,

Riotgirl

US troops may be out of Iraq, but men and women put themselves in harms way as a way of life. So so many don't have to! There are many battles that are done without the knowlage of the public. Thank the Military everyday that you are allowed to live your life as you wish.

Saligia,

Thank you for your heartfelt apperication and for thinking of all of us veterans. Who served when called upon to to do their duty for protecting the freedom we all cherish. Because of women like you who understand that freedom is what all of us should be able to live !
