Tell us about yourself and why you belong on PL.

I am a Pinup Angel in Training, Navy spouse, painter and artist, my work can be found on my myspace at http://www.myspace.com/kustomretrophilia. I am big into classic cars/hot rods and the retro/subculture style. I would describe my style as more subculture but when I dress up either professionally or for going out on the town I tend to have a 1940s-1960s style with a bit (or a lot) of edge, normally I'm the girl in a pair of jeans, tshirt with a funky belt and wallet chain. I am open to ideas for photo shoots but am not comfortable with doing nude or implied nude shoots. I love tattoos, classic horror films (just about anything prior to 1980), all kinds of rock music and a casual listener of old school soul and jazz music. I'm a Corvette enthusiast as well as a lover of any classic car with tons of chrome, the more chrome the more inspired I am to paint it on canvas. I also paint shoes and accessories, from purses to guitar cases. I'm dabbling a little in pin-striping but still trying to get the hang of it before I really hit the One Shot. I enjoy meeting and networking with new people. I've worked with some fabulous folks in the past and look forward to working with more in the future!

Some small details about myself:

-I am willing to travel within 50 miles of my home but need a lot of time in advance to plan and may need some compensation for gas.
-I prefer not to do nude or implied nude shoots as I am not comfortable with that at this time and I do bring an escort, either male or female.
-I am looking for TFP/TFCD mostly but am open to paid shoots.
-I can do my own hair and makeup but if a photographer prefers to use their MUA and hair stylist that's perfectly fine by me.
-My hair is dark reddish brown/black, mostly straight and past my shoulder blades with Bettie bangs.
-I have a few tattoos: one on the upper left arm, the inside of my left wrist, back of my neck and across my back.

About Me

I'm a freelance artist, occasional pinup model, mom of one and a Navy spouse. I make it my business to find out what's going on in the area like car shows, concerts, conventions etc. I love vintage and antiques, corvettes and classic cars, history, science and random facts. Most of the time you won't find me in a pencil skirt and heels out and about, I'm pretty low-maintenance and can be found in a tshirt and jeans. Major events and photo shoots are my time to bring out the inner pinup.

My artwork is now at Walls Fine Art Gallery in downtown Norfolk!
