Classic Vintage with a lot of sex appeal!

Tell us about yourself and why you belong on PL.

I have been a fan of everything vintage, retro and old since I can remember. I was a strange one who enjoyed black and white movies more than Saturday morning cartoons. Musicals were a staple in my life and to this day, I can Karaoke a 1940's tune with the best of them!

I just recently became more interested in the Pin Up life style. Since I have always been a lover of the old for some time, it was a very normal progression that I would soon discover the world of beautiful pinups! I soon discovered however that main stream American did not have many pinup models that looked like me:( Upon future research, I found that it was NOT because they did not exist but simply because of the lack of mainstream models of color during this time. Black models still adorned covers of popular magazines such as Jet and Ebony but this circuit only encompassed a small percentage of readers and viewers throughout the world.

It is my hope that Women of Color in Pin Up Modeling will continue to grow as we discover and learn more of our own history and culture.

I am also the owner of a hair replacement company that focuses on an item called Lace Wigs. Its a great addition to my Pin Up photos and looks just as real as my own hair! Divas Wear Lace welcomes any PUL members with open arms AND a discount!
