Millinery Fun, My Bridal Headpiece is DONE!

I accomplished one of the larger, looming tasks at hand for the wedding last night - a very important piece of my bridal ensemble, my headpiece. Inspired by the gorgeous hats and veils worn by brides in glamorous 1930s Hollywood films, I ordered a box full of pleated horsehair crinoline and russian veiling from Judith M Millinery Supply and set to work. Workin hard! Wedding = 2 weeks away!

Working on my wedding dress and other wedding stuff, trying to get everything made before the big day. Which is now 2 weeks away! Oh my!



I'll survive. I'm just ready for our super-fun honeymoon to begin! We're taking the Empire Builder from Chicago to Seattle, with a stop off in Glacier NP. Exciting!

Miss-Jess.com -or- How Much Do I Love Web Design?

Here's a preview of my new splash page for my modeling site - I'm pretty pumped about this look. I have a bit more tweaking to do, but not bad for 4.5 hours work last night. Most of that time was spent on the 'pulp novel' graphic which I pretty much made from scratch. Yeah, I really need to toy around with the text alignment a little more, but the new site will be pretty rad.

I got a lot of work done on lottamoxie.com last night. I finally got the layout and design how I want it and everything working. The little twitter widget is cool. I put it on my profile here too. It's TwitPress. TwitMe didn't work for me but TwitPress was great when I used my email and not my log in name. I dig it.

Oh Lord.

Moxie is pullin' her hair out today kids. Lord. The holidays are always packed with parties and social to do's and I'm so stacked with work it's ridiculous. I would like to say I'm having a great day at the greatest job ever, but that's wishful thinking.
